The Get Grounded Foundation relies upon volunteer staff and their efforts in order to accomplish the goals of the Teen Studio: To provide a fulfilling, fun and meaningful experience for each teen, while creating an environment where they are able to explore what helps them “get grounded” in life.

Mentors range in age and experience from those in college to seasoned adult volunteers. We appreciate individuals who are interested in supporting teens and understand the importance of our mission.

In addition, we are required to maintain a 1:10 adult to teen ratio for programs offered.  This ratio allows for greater connection with teens and a more relaxed enjoyable experience for mentors.  In order to achieve this connection, we do appreciate mentors volunteering their time and talent with a consistent ongoing commitment to the teens.

The Get Grounded Foundation policy does require that mentors complete an application, inclusive of a background check before volunteer commitment can begin.
